England is one big Pakistani ghetto, you work hard for your money don't waste it on a holiday to an overpriced city when you can just dip your feet in your local sewer and receive the same experience

If you have time make sure to visit: Greenwich, Hampstead, Chelsea, Richmond, Battersea (and not just the city Centre). Some of the best parts are more peripheral (despite contrary comments from people who don't know London very well below).

This is the best global city to visit (of course the centre can get busy like any large city). Comments suggesting going up north/rural parts of the UK instead are pointless if you're deliberately seeking out a global city. If you're seeking a countryside break in UK I would recommend Cornwall, west Wales or the Scottish highlands.

Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Glory to the Polish volunteers who defended the British from the Nazis in 1940! Glory to the Polish volunteers protecting Ukrainians from the Nazis in 2022!
