Buda is lovely. Defo recommend a trip there. The history is interesting. You could easily spend a week here or a week end. One of the best cities in Europe.

Yes, it is a beautiful city but not as beautiful as Prague or Dresden, I think.
We loved this city, architecture, monument ans history. So We remember an amazing moment on the bastion of fishermen in front of the magnificient Parliament with classic music from street artist, a magic moment where the time stopped.

Over 400,000 Jews were deported and murdered by the Nazis, with a lot of help from many Hungarians. That is not a "few thousand people, many of them Jews". Also, that memorial was vandalized.

i read that it originally was two separate cities 🙂 Buda and Pezt <33 my grandmother went there just after 1945 🙂 im going to go there before i kick the bucket for real. looks like a cute city
